In all festival events, the USSSA rule book will be used with the following exceptions--

1. Men’s Upper will be played with 1 home run per team, per inning. Any after that will be an inning ending out.
|
|
2. Men’s Lower will be played with 2 home runs per team per game limit. After reaching limit -- all will be inning ending outs.
|
|
3. Co-Ed Rec will be a 1 home run limit for the Men, unlimited for the Women after reaching limit. Inning ending out.

|
Base Advancement
|
|
4. Runner may advance once the pitched ball hits the ground, home plate or crosses home plate.
|
|
5. Pitched ball hitting batter is dead ball.
|
|
6. Runner’s must immediately return to their base or advance to next base, after each pitched ball is returned to pitcher.
|
|
7. Run Rule -- 20 after 3, 15 after 4, 10 after 5 innings of play.
|
|
8. International Tie Breaker will be used if tied after 7 innings.
|
|
|
|
Festival Roster Rules
|
|
1. All teams must fill out rosters.
|
|
2. Player can only be on one roster in men’s play.
|
|
3. Festival roster is not the same as a sanctioned tournament team roster.
|
|
4. Points earned count towards the point challenge.
|
|
5. Sanctioned Tournaments teams must have 8 players from their roster to qualify for USSSA points.
|
|
6. Sanctioned tournament teams playing up a division get double points. Example - a D team playing in the upper gets double points.
|
|
7. Co-ed Players on roster of a C or above team must play upper in Co-ed. D or below, lower. This counts for Men and Women
|
|
8. Festival teams that have 4 or more players from a sanctioned C tournament team, must play upper.
|
|
9. Teams must play in one festival event to qualify for State final.
|
|
10. Tournament director may re-classify teams at any time.
